About the Author

More commonly known as Avi, Abbi, Sammi, etc. (the list goes on).

Named after King David's third Wife, her name means "Joy of the Father" or "Source of Joy". When Abbi's mother sat her down on her lap at age three to teach her how to read, little did she know that this would be the catalyst. Her passion for writing stories budded over sixteen years ago. And it is still growing and blossoming to this day, with a book now out: Of Ravens in Shadows.

Sitting in church every Sabbath (Saturday), Abigail would listen attentively to stories about the past, hearing the tales of the Roman Empire; the persecutions, the wars with Judea that lead to the fall of Jerusalem, the fall of the Empire itself, and the lessons the church could draw from them. It was there, ever so subtly, God gave her the inspiration for a story that would take seven years to complete. And by His grace, she's only just begun.

A born Canadian who has lived for sometime in the Northeast, she has yet to get used to the humid Florida weather, and spend her free time doing her daily spiritual devotions, enjoying Sabbath every week, pouring out her imagination on a paper, exercising, painting, listening to music, tutoring in English, or exercising.

Currently speaks French, Haitian Creole, English, and Mandarin
